White-Label LinkedIn Automation: What Agencies Should Check

Quick answer: White-label LinkedIn automation is an outreach platform you rebrand and resell to your own clients, so they see your name, logo, and domain instead of the vendor's. The things that decide whether it works for an agency are how the vendor charges you (per account, revenue share, or per client), how clients are kept separate, how LinkedIn accounts are protected, and what happens to your data if you leave. This guide explains each and ends with a checklist.

What "white label" means in practice

A white-label tool lets an agency present the software as its own. In practice that usually covers four things:

    • Your brand. Your name, logo, and colors in the app.
    • Your domain. Clients sign in at an address you own, such as app.youragency.com, over HTTPS.
    • Client workspaces. Each client gets a separate space for their accounts, campaigns, contacts, and inbox.
    • Branded communication. Invitations and notifications come from your identity, not the vendor's.

What it does not change: LinkedIn's rules apply to every account whichever name is on the software. A white-label label is a presentation layer. It does not make risky sending safe. Review LinkedIn's current terms and your clients' regions before you commit to any vendor, and see how to automate LinkedIn outreach without getting restricted.

    Three ways vendors charge agencies

ModelHow you payWhere the margin comes fromMain risk
Wholesale per accountYou pay the vendor a rate per connected account; you set client pricesThe gap between your price and the wholesale ratePaying for accounts clients have not started using, if there is a minimum
Revenue share or commissionClient pays the vendor; vendor pays you a percentageThe percentage you keepThe percentage can be small compared to buying accounts yourself, and the vendor owns the billing relationship
Per-client flat feeOne price per client, whatever they useThe gap, if usage is predictableHeavy clients erode the margin

A quick test: compare what you would earn on commission with what you would earn buying accounts at the same list price and reselling them. In many cases the second is higher, because a commission is a slice of the client's payment while a wholesale margin is the whole gap above your cost. That is why wholesale per account is the model most agencies end up preferring.

    The margin math

Margin per client = client price - your cost per account - your time cost.

Suppose you buy accounts at $75 a month, charge each client $300, and spend $120 of your team's time per client. Your margin is $300 - $75 - $120 = $105 per client per month, or 35%. Run it with your real numbers, or use the free agency pricing and margin calculator. If the time cost dominates, the platform price barely moves the result, and what matters is how much each client's replies and reporting cost you. How much to charge for LinkedIn outreach services walks through the full cost formula.

A checklist to run before you commit

    1. Can clients sign in on your own domain over HTTPS? Ask what you have to do (a DNS record, usually) and who handles the certificate.
    2. Does the vendor's name appear anywhere clients look? Check the app, the invitation emails, receipts, and the help links.
    3. How are clients separated? Each client should have an isolated workspace, and a LinkedIn account should be bound to the workspace it was connected in.
    4. What limits protect each account? Look for per-account daily caps, warm-up for new accounts, send windows, and a way to stop activity at once.
    5. Whose LinkedIn accounts are they? Accounts should belong to the real owner and be used with consent. Avoid any arrangement that involves shared logins or rented accounts.
    6. What is the minimum? Ask about a minimum number of accounts, a minimum term, and what happens below the minimum.
    7. Who bills the client? With wholesale you bill your clients. With revenue share the vendor often does. Know which before you sign.
    8. What happens if you leave? Ask whether you can export client data, and what happens to client workspaces if your subscription ends.
    9. What if a payment fails? Ask whether client workspaces are locked, and how long you get to fix it.
    10. How are replies handled? Sorting and drafting replies saves the hours that make up most of your cost. See how to book more meetings from LinkedIn replies.

Questions to ask in the sales call

    • What is the exact price per account at 10, 20, and 50 accounts, and does it change if I prepay a year?
    • How long does it take to set up my domain and branding, and what do you need from me?
    • How do you handle a client who wants to leave and take their data?
    • What do you do when LinkedIn changes its interface or limits?

Vendors that answer in specifics, in writing, are usually the ones that will support you after the sale.

    Where FollowArc fits

FollowArc supports a white-label brand on a domain you own (verified with a DNS record, set up with you), a separate workspace per client, per-account caps and warm-up, and a killswitch. Agencies running 20 or more client accounts buy accounts at a wholesale rate agreed on a call, set their own client prices, and keep the difference. Replies are sorted and drafted for each client's inbox. Details are on the agency program page, and the FollowArc vs Salesflow comparison covers how another agency-focused platform differs.

    Frequently asked questions

Is white-label LinkedIn automation allowed? LinkedIn's terms restrict automated activity and change over time. Read the current terms, choose a vendor with real safety limits, and be open with clients about the risks. This guide is not legal advice.

How long does white-label setup take? It depends on the vendor. Branding is quick; a custom domain needs a DNS record and a certificate. Ask for a timeline in writing.

Do my clients need to know which vendor I use? That is up to you and your contract. Make sure data handling, privacy, and sub-processor terms are covered whatever name is on the software.
