How Much to Charge for LinkedIn Outreach Services

Quick answer: Work out what one client costs you to serve (tools, data, and your team's time), decide the margin you need, and divide: price = cost / (1 - target margin). Then check that number against what the market charges and against the value your client gets. Published prices for done-for-you LinkedIn outreach run from a few hundred dollars a month for light packages to several thousand for full service, so there is room for most agencies to find a workable price.

Start with cost, not with what competitors charge

Most pricing advice starts with a competitor's price list. That tells you what the market tolerates, not whether you make money. Start with your own cost of serving one client for one month.

    Add up four things:

    • Tools. The outreach platform, the LinkedIn account seat, and any Sales Navigator subscription for the client's targeting.
    • Data. Email finding, enrichment, and list-building credits.
    • Your team's time. Hours spent on list building, message writing, reviewing replies, booking meetings, and reporting. Use a loaded hourly cost (pay plus overhead), not just a wage.
    • Overhead you can attribute. Client-facing software, account management, and a share of sales effort.

The time line is the one agencies underestimate. Reading and answering replies, and reporting, often take longer than building the first campaign.

    The formula

Price = cost per client / (1 - target margin)

    If your cost to serve a client is $495 a month and you want a 60% margin, the price is $495 / 0.40 = about $1,238 a month. If you charge $1,500, your margin is ($1,500 - $495) / $1,500 = 67%.

A worked example (illustrative: replace every number with your own)

Want to try your own numbers? Use the free agency pricing and margin calculator.

Say you serve five clients, each with one connected LinkedIn account, and you use FollowArc at its published per-account price: $149 for the first account and $119 for each of the next four, which is $625 for five accounts, or $125 per client on average.

Cost line (per client, per month)AmountNote
Outreach platform seat$125Average of five accounts
Data and enrichment$50Assumption: depends on your list sizes
    Your team's time$320Assumption: 8 hours at a $40 loaded hourly cost
    Total cost$495
    Retainer charged$1,500
    Margin$1,005 (67%)

Two things to notice. First, labor is about two-thirds of the cost, so tooling is not where your margin is won or lost: how many hours each client needs is. Second, if reply handling takes 14 hours instead of 8, your cost becomes $735 and the margin drops to 51% at the same price. Track hours per client for the first two months before you lock in a price.

Pricing models and when each fits

    ModelHow it worksWatch out for

Setup fee plus retainerOne-time build, then monthlyNeeds clear exit terms
Per-meetingFee for each meeting bookedYou carry the risk; define what counts as a qualified meeting in writing
HybridLower retainer plus a bonus per meetingNeeds careful definitions and reporting

Retainers are the safest starting point for a new service because your costs are mostly time, and time is billed whether or not replies arrive. Per-meeting pricing looks attractive to clients, but replies depend on the offer, the market, and LinkedIn's limits, none of which you control. If you offer it, keep a minimum monthly fee so a slow month does not become a loss.

    What the market publishes

Agency and vendor websites we reviewed in October 2026 list a wide spread. Entry packages for done-for-you outreach start at a few hundred dollars a month. Mid-market full service is commonly quoted at roughly $2,000 to $7,000 a month. Enterprise programs are listed at $15,000 a month or more. These numbers come from agencies marketing their own services, and the same firm sometimes lists different prices on different pages, so use them as a rough range, not a benchmark.

    Set a minimum term

A new or reconnected LinkedIn account has to warm up: sending volume ramps gradually, and acceptance and reply rates take weeks to show a real picture. A first-month result is not representative. Many agencies set a three-month minimum for this reason, with a short review at the end of month one covering setup quality and early signals rather than meetings. See how to warm up a LinkedIn account and what a good reply rate looks like.

Check the price from the client's side

Your price also has to make sense for them. Take their average deal value, their close rate on a qualified meeting, and the meetings per month you can realistically book, and compare the pipeline value with your fee. The outreach ROI calculator does this with their numbers. If a client needs to close a single deal to cover a year of your fees, the price is easy to defend. If they need ten, expect a hard conversation.

    Common mistakes

    • Pricing from competitors without knowing your cost. You can match a market price and still lose money.
    • Ignoring reply handling. It is the hidden time sink.
    • Charging by results you do not control. Define deliverables you can deliver.
    • No minimum term. One bad month on a new account ends the relationship before the data arrives.
    • Raising prices late. Quote full price from the start and discount with a term commitment instead.

    Where FollowArc fits

FollowArc is priced per connected LinkedIn account: $149 a month for the first account, stepping down to $79 a month per account at 16 and above, with every account getting the full product and a 7-day trial. Agencies running 20 or more client accounts buy accounts at a wholesale rate agreed on a call, set their own client prices, and keep the difference; see the agency program. Frequently asked questions

How much should a new agency charge for LinkedIn outreach? Calculate your cost to serve one client, then use price = cost / (1 - target margin). Check it against the client's pipeline value. Many new agencies start with a monthly retainer and a three-month minimum.

Is per-meeting pricing a good idea? It appeals to clients, but it puts the risk on you because you do not control replies or market demand. If you use it, set a minimum monthly fee and define in writing what counts as a qualified meeting.

What margin should an agency aim for? There is no standard. Because labor is the main cost, a margin target is only meaningful once you know the hours each client really takes. Track hours for two months, then set your price.
