What is the FollowArc MCP server?

It lets AI tools you already use, such as Claude or ChatGPT, talk to your FollowArc workspace: look up contacts and replies, draft responses, build campaigns and turn signal-based enrollment on. You work in the AI tool you prefer, and FollowArc does the outreach work with its safety checks intact.

Do I need my own API access for the AI model?

No. The AI tool uses its own model access. FollowArc only exposes your workspace to it through the connector.

Can the AI tool send messages without my approval?

Not past the safety stack. Sending an invite goes through the same limits, send window and suppression list as the app, and a read-only key cannot send anything. Building a campaign always saves a draft with no contacts, and nothing starts until you activate it.

What does the AI tool see?

Only the workspaces you are a member of, and only what the tools return. Text that came from contacts, such as names and reply bodies, is fenced before it reaches the AI tool so it is treated as data, not instructions.

How do I connect it?

In a connector-capable client such as Claude, add a custom connector with the server address below and sign in. For other clients, create an API key in Settings under API keys, choose read-only or write access, and send it as a Bearer token.
