For teams whose CRM is not HubSpot
Send FollowArc to any CRM
HubSpot connects directly. Every other CRM works the same way: FollowArc sends a signed web request each time a reply arrives, a meeting is booked or someone unsubscribes, and your CRM, or Zapier or Make on its behalf, writes it down. Set it up once, in about ten minutes.
Set it up
- Get an address to send to. In Zapier, start a Zap with the trigger "Webhooks by Zapier" and the event "Catch Hook". In Make, add the "Custom webhook" module. Copy the address it shows you. If your CRM can receive a web request directly, use its address instead.
- Add it in FollowArc. Open Webhooks in the app, add a new webhook, paste the address and choose the events below. Add a signing secret if your system can check it.
- Send a test. Press Test on the webhook. Your automation now has a real sample to map fields from, and the delivery log on the same page shows whether it arrived.
- Add the CRM step. Create or update the person, deal or note. The table below gives a starting point for each CRM.
What FollowArc sends
reply.received
When: A contact replies on LinkedIn or by email.
Carries: The reply text (first 1,000 characters) and the FollowArc contact id. LinkedIn replies add the sender name, their profile address and when it arrived. Email replies add the campaign id.
reply.sentiment_classified
When: FollowArc has judged how a LinkedIn reply reads (interested, not now, and so on).
Carries: The contact id, the sentiment, how confident it is, and the action FollowArc took.
meeting.booked
When: A meeting is booked from a conversation.
Carries: The start and end time, the contact email, and the meeting link, plus the booking details.
contact.unsubscribed
When: A LinkedIn reply asks not to be contacted.
Carries: The FollowArc contact id and the reply text that triggered it, so you can stop sequences in your CRM too.
Every request is a JSON post with the same outer shape:
{
"event": "reply.received",
"workspaceId": "...",
"timestamp": "2026-10-21T15:04:05.000Z",
"data": { ... }
}The headers include X-Sophia-Event and, when you set a secret, X-Sophia-Signature in the form sha256=..., an HMAC-SHA256 of the raw body.
One thing to plan for: a LinkedIn reply does not carry an email address. It carries the person's name and LinkedIn profile address, so match on those, or on the FollowArc contact id if you stored it. A booked meeting does carry the email.
A starting point for each CRM
| CRM | What to do with the events |
|---|---|
| Pipedrive | On meeting.booked, find the person by email (the event carries it) and create a deal or an activity. On a reply, add a note to the person. |
| Zoho CRM | On meeting.booked, create or update the contact by email and add a task for the meeting. On a reply, log it as a note. |
| GoHighLevel | On meeting.booked, create or update the contact and move the opportunity to your booked stage. On a reply, add a note and tag the contact. |
| Salesforce | On meeting.booked, create or update the lead or contact and add an event. On a reply, log a task with the reply text. |
| Any other CRM | If it can receive a web request, point the webhook straight at it. If not, use Zapier or Make in the middle. |
These are suggestions for your own automation. The exact step names depend on the tool you use.
What this is not
- A two-way sync. Events go out of FollowArc; your CRM edits do not come back.
- A guaranteed delivery queue. It tries once and records the result, so check the delivery log if a record is missing.
- A replacement for the direct HubSpot connection. If you use HubSpot, connect it directly.
Frequently asked questions
Which CRMs does FollowArc connect to directly?
HubSpot has a direct connection. For every other CRM, such as Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, GoHighLevel, Salesforce and ServiceNow, use the webhook route on this page.
Does it work with Pipedrive?
Yes, through a webhook and an automation tool such as Zapier or Make. There is no one-click Pipedrive connection. FollowArc sends you the events and your automation writes them into Pipedrive.
Is it a two-way sync?
No. Webhooks send events out of FollowArc. Changes you make in your CRM do not flow back, except for closed deals, which your CRM can report to a private address FollowArc gives each workspace so your revenue shows in reports.
Can I trust that a request came from FollowArc?
Yes, if you set a signing secret. FollowArc then signs each request with it and sends the signature in the X-Sophia-Signature header. Check the signature before you act on the data.
What if my system is down when an event is sent?
FollowArc tries once and waits up to five seconds. A reply with a 2xx status counts as delivered. Anything else is recorded as failed in the delivery log on the Webhooks page. It does not retry automatically.
Do I need Zapier or Make?
Only if your CRM cannot receive a web request itself. Zapier and Make have their own plans and prices.
